| Abstract |
A catalogue of 179 fish species occurring in the fresh and coastal waters of the Netherlands is published. Scientific, Dutch and English names are given for each species as well as information on their abundance in the fresh waters of Holland and in the Dutch coastal waters within the twelve mile boundary , together with records on rare and extremely rare species. |
