Long term trends in the macrobenthos of the Belgian Continental Shelf
To explore the effects of natural and anthropogenic impacts, macrobenthos is used. Also because of their direct link with the sediment and the processes just above it. The goal of this project is to contribute to the knowledge of the long-term variability in the biodiversity of the macrobenthos and its relationship to human activities.

Marine Regions, towards a standard for georeferenced marine names
“Marine Regions”, an open-access, standardised, hierarchical list of geographic names, linked to information on and maps of the geographic location of these names. It includes geographic marine names worldwide, including ocean basins, seas, sandbanks, ridges, bays and other marine geographical placenames and attributes, and displays the boundaries of marine biogeographic or other managed marine areas

World Register of Marine Species
The aim of a World Register of Marine Species is to provide an authoritative and comprehensive list of names of marine organisms, including information on synonymy. While highest priority goes to valid names, other names in use are included so that this register can serve as a guide to interpret taxonomic literature.
