In addition, VLIZ will demonstrate the variety of marine research at the Marine Station Ostend (MSO). During this year’s Science Day, marine scientists will explain you everything about our changing seas.

  • When: Sunday, 26th November, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Where: Marine Station Ostend, Slipwaykaai 2, 8400 Ostend
  • Easily reachable by the free ferry: Ostend city center (Visserskaai) - Oosteroever (Maritiem Plein)
  • Sufficient parking space

Due to a problem with the sluices of the Visserijdok, the RV Simon Stevin will be docked at the Esplanadestraat, 8400 Oostende. In case you prefer your own transportation, please follow the marking arrows from the Marine Station and the main road Dokter Eduard Moreauxlaan.
