The perfume of Ostend ...’ These are the words of Baron James Ensor. Painter, musician and confirmed inhabitant of Oostende. During the walk Perfume Ostend he takes you through the streets of his city. What he shows you, is another Ostend. Ostend in the footsteps of artists such as Leon Spilliaert and Constant Permeke. But above all Ostend through the eyes of Ensor himself. You make the tour at your own pace, using an audio guide with monitor and GPS. You will be accompanied by the voices of topactors Wim Opbrouck and Els Dottermans. Sound, image and the unique atmosphere of Ostend Perfume: a totally charming and provocative experience. Credit card details are required to guarantee the booking (no payment at this stage). The procedure will be clearly stated on the confirmation e-mail. Deadline: 1 September 2010.
On 1 September the final decision will be taken whether the excursion will take place depending on the number of registrations (min. 20 for excursion to Bruges). Registered accompanying persons will be asked to collect a voucher at Tourism Oostende and settle the excursion fee (cash, bank contact, credit card). In the event of payment failure, the amount will be taken from the credit card.
