The research activities of the Laboratory of Oceanology and Geosciences are carried out at the ' ‘Wimereux Marine Station’' and the ' ‘Maison de la Recherche en Environnement Naturel’ and is located at Wimereux.
The laboratory consists out of five research groups:
- Plancton ecology
- Benthic ecosystems and interface processes
- Biodiversity and climate
- Littoral morphodynamics
- Physical oceanography, transport and teledetection
