Abstract
Following earlier findings of males in certain populations of Potamopyrgus jenkinsi, in Great Britain and the Netherlands, further collections were made in 1980 in a number of European countries; also, the area in North Wales where males were especially abundant was studied in more detail. Some replacement and supplementary collections were added in 1981 and 1983. Males were found in a number of localities and some apparent hermaphrodites were also seen.
