OMA-Submit page We invite each Flemish/Belgian marine researcher to post digital versions of their publications here. We provide a correct and complete record of these documents in the IMIS-database, we archive the digital files on the VLIZ-server, and we provide permanent online availability of these publications, through the OMA-interface.

In this webform you can -at your own choice- add information on your posted documents. Adding keywords, and thesaurus terms, or an abstract, will certainly enhance the searchability and visibility of your publications on the web. Moreover, a list of document categories (types) is available to indicate the quality/status of the publication. All formats (pdf, txt, Word, Excel,…) are accepted. We further recommend to save your files as 'Read only' before posting them.

	Not sure if your publisher gives you permission to post your publications here? Go to the Sherpa-database to check the policies for that publisher on open archives. If your publisher is not listed in Sherpa, you can still post your document here! We will contact the publisher directly to verify their policy on OMA, and take the appropiate decision.

Posted documents are made available through the OMA-interface within two weeks of posting date. The references will also be listed under a separate heading (OMA - Open Marine Archive) in the weekly VLIZ Acquisitions-list ,sent by email to the Flanders marine community.
