VLIZ contacted each Belgian research team to participate in the monthly monitoring. This call remains open. Contact Andre Cattrijsse for information.

The cooperation specifies that VLIZ collects the samples while the participating research teams perform the lab analyses. During each trip any research team may embark to collect additional samples or measurements on the 10 stations when time allows or to use the sampling as a demonstration for students or practical exercises on oceanographic methods or work at sea. The response of the scientific community was positive and led to the cooperation between VLIZ and five research teams. The table below summarises what data are being delivered and which groups perform the analyses. It also contains a link to the sampling and analyses procedures.
