DEDUCE (Développement durable des Côtes Européennes) is a transnational project concerning Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM), co-financed by the European Commission and the participating regions, in the framework of Interreg IIIC South.

Its main objective is to evaluate the utility of indicators for optimal decision making on the coast, following the principles and criteria established by the EU Recommandation on ICZM.

Nine partners representing all decision-making levels (European, national, regional and local) are carrying out the project, which runs from October 2004 to June 2007.

DEDUCE (Développement durable des Côtes Européennes) est un projet transnational portant sur la gestion intégrée des zones côtières (GIZC) et cofinancé par la Commission Européenne et les régions / états participant, dans le cadre d’Interreg IIIC Sud.

Son objectif principal est d’évaluer l’utilité des indicateurs pour une prise de décision optimale sur le littoral, suivant les principes et critères établis par la recommandation européenne pour la GIZC.

Neuf partenaires représentant les différents niveaux géographiques de décision( européen, national, régional et local) sont partie prenante dans ce projet qui s’étale entre octobre 2004 et juin 2007.
