Description Once the catch is hauled aboard, the shrimps are separated out, and saleable by-catch such as plaice and sole is also retained, while the rest is thrown back into the sea.
Belgian shrimp is a delicacy and is cooked in seawater onboard very soon after it is emptied out of the net and sorted.
The boat leaves each day at 4.30pm and returns the next morning around 7.30am, six days a week.
