Number of items of litter collected per km shoreline

  • Definition : Number of items of litter collected per kilometre of shoreline, in any given year.
  • Calculation : Number of items of litter collected per given length of shoreline, divided by that given length expressed in metres, multiplied by 1000m (=express as number per kilometre).
  • Unit : Number per kilometre
