Sea level relative to land

  • Definition : Revised Local References (RLR) datasets obtained from the Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) are reduced to a common datum approximately 7000mm below mean sea level in order to enhance comparability among regions, by station (district, sub-region), in any given year.
  • Calculation : Annual average observed sea level (in millimetre) relative to land
