Abstract
The diurnal modulation of circatidal activity was studied in freshly caught Eurydice pulchra of different feeding states. Apparently fully fed specimens displayed definite circadian modulation, with greatest tidal activity at the time of expected night-time high tides, and apparently starved animals showed no circadian variation.
