Abstract
Nucula mariae sp. nov. from Angola is here described and figured. This species is compared with N. sulcata Bronn, 1831, the latter living from the Lofoten Islands (Norway), south to the Iberian peninsula, into the Mediterranean Sea and along the Atlantic coast of Morocco to Senegal.
