- Repaired boundary between Morocco and the Atlantic Ocean
- Disputed boundaries between Peru and Chile: both point of views are in the database
- Checked and recalculated boundary between Myanmar and Bangladesh
- Added EEZ's in de Caspian Sea
- Gulf of Aqaba: 
	- split into an Egyptian EEZ and an Israeli EEZ (~ existing boundary)
	- split into a Saudi-Arabian EEZ and create the Jordan EEZ (~ existing boundary)
- Near Kuršiu Marios, the EEZ has been attributed to Lithuania and Poland. This part does not belong to Poland, and has been rectified
- Changed ID Bosnia Herzegovina (sovID = 232)
- A new ID for the Indian and Pacific Ocean or the Atlantic Indian Ocean has been created
- Gulf of Mexico, +/- 25.5N +/-90.4W, the 3 small islands (seamounts instead of islands) have been removed
- Two eclaves SE of New Zealand in the New Zealand EEZ have been included
- Grecian EEZ has been converted into Greek EEZ, Viet Nam became Vietnam, Chagos Archipelago equals the British Indian Ocean Territory


- Areas have been recalculated
- A low resolution shapefile has been created
