Biology Type of larval development: short planktonic, non-planktotrophic as usual in Vetigastropoda and Patellogastropoda [details]

Diagnosis Shell up to 15 mm long, with oval contour and elevated, conical profile, apex situated in the posterior third, never overhanging the posterior margin. Sculpture of numerous low radial ribs, alternating stronger and weaker, crossed by comarginal cordlets which are attenuated on the top of the ribs. Slit narrow and deep. Colour white. [details]
