The CBMP Framework Document outlines the framework behind the Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program for the Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) and was endorsed by the Arctic Council Ministers in 2004 as CAFF's cornerstone program. The CBMP Framework Document, which was developed by CAFF aims to serve as a coordinating entity for currently existing biodiversity monitoring programs in the Arctic, for data gathering, data analyses, and for coordinating the communication of results. This includes information relevant for climate change and implementation of the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment Scientific Report.
