Definition of Lowest astronomical tide (LAT):
The lowest levels which can be predicted to occur under average meteorological conditions.[1].
This is the common definition for Lowest astronomical tide (LAT), other definitions can be discussed in the article

Notes

LAT is not the lowest level that may be reached as storm surges may cause considerably lower levels to occur.
