Science Day 2021 - Santé Zee

To celebrate Science Day 2021 on Sunday, 28th November, the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ) offers guided tours on the Flemish research vessel Simon Stevin. In addition, VLIZ will demonstrate the variety of marine research at the Marine Station Ostend (MSO). During this edition, scientists will put the health of the ocean and the link with the human body in the spotlight. Follow our fit-o-meter and experience marine science yourself. You will discover amongst others, wheather seaweed is healthy, which sound you hear underwater, and how come the sea makes us happy. In addition to interactive stands, you can attend lectures and children can participate in one of our workshops.
