VLIZ Members' Day 2023
Following annual tradition, VLIZ organises a unique event for its members, in particular to thank them for their loyal support to marine research. It is also the perfect time for new members to join VLIZ and learn more about how the institute works and about VLIZ philanthropy 'The Sea as a Good Cause'. All welcome on Friday 23 June!

Scoop: Visit the new building of the Marine Station Ostend
The VLIZ offers its members the unique opportunity to visit the expansion of the Marine Station Ostend for the first time. On Friday 23 June 2023, we welcome you to the Slipwaykaai. After a welcome speech by General Director Jan Mees, you can enter the building where VLIZ staff will inform you about how this new building contributes to their marine research. We will conclude with a drink.
To keep the afternoon/evening running smoothly, we use a rotation system. Each group will be present for a maximum of one and a half hours. Please indicate in the registration form what time you wish to start. Please note that the number of places per time slot is limited. The event is in Dutch.

This evening is free for VLIZ members and their children, but registration is obligatory and can be done via form.vliz.be/nl/ledendag2023 (before 16 June 2023).
