Description
The primary aim of this data was to develop an innovative anti-fouling coating based on three antifouling mechanisms. These are 1) repulsion of organic matter and organisms by application of ordered polyethyleneglycol chains. 2) Renewal of the outer coating layer by slow and regulated detrition. 3) Regulated release of naturally occurring biocides, anchored in the coatings.
