Description
The zooplankton dataset contains samples collected during 2011-2015, from different stations located in the Romanian Black Sea area. Samples were collected using the Juday net, with an opening of 36 cm diameter and 150 µm mesh size from different depths, in cold and warm season . Zooplankton samples were analyzed both from quantitative (density and biomass) and qualitative (list of species) point of view. The dataset contains qualitative and quantitative data of mesozooplankton taxa identified in 2011-2015, from station located in the Romanian Black Sea area, from a standard monitoring network. The sampling was performed with the aim of monitoring and data collection, in line with the NIMRD projects objectives, bringing together the expertise and competences required for implementing planned activities.
