Abstract
    During four successive years 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1978 the Balgzand was investigated, which resulted in a number of figures, that gave us an idea in what way the numbers of I- and II-group plaice varied. Also the length growth of these two classes are mentioned. An attempt has been made to calculate the production and the consumption of 0-, I- and II- group plaice during these four years.
