Abstract
Mcleaniella, a new Tertiary genus of the family Liotiidae, is proposed. This taxon is known only from the Danian (Lower Paleocene) of the Paris Basin (France). One species is known, Mcleaniella danae (d'Orbigny, 1850a). The identification of morphological features enables separation of this new genus within Liotiidae. The new subfamily Mcleaniellinae is proposed.
