Abstract
Echinoid faunules from Pliocene strata (Kattendijk and Lillo formations) in the Antwerp area (NW Belgium) are shown to comprise at least six species, with loveniids representing the commonest element. Associated are strongylocentrotids, echinids, fibulariids and spatangids. Preservation varies considerably, ranging from isolated test fragments to specimens preserving full spine canopies.
