Abstract
    One hundred and thirty-four marine fish species are listed, occurring along the coast of the Netherlands within the twelve miles zone. Data from1946 to 1980 are used only. For identification to species level keys are provided. Descriptive notes on all species are given, together with vernacular Dutch, English, French and German names. All but four species are illustrated. Notes on their distribution are added.
