By car

From the E40 or E403 motorways, take the exit signposted Brugge (Bruges). Then follow the N351 regional road to the R30 ring road, from where you can reach various public car parks (see below). Provinciaal Hof is located on the Market Square in the historical centre of Bruges.

Car parks

Within walking distance of the centre, there are several peripheral car parks where you can park free of charge. Parking in the inner city is cheapest in ‘Parking Centrum Station’. On presentation of a car park ticket, the driver and three passengers can freely make use of the bus to go to and return from the city centre. To reach this car park, enter Bruges via the R30 ring road (Buiten Begijnvest). Other nearby underground car parks in the centre of Bruges are Centrum Zand, Zilverpand, Biekorf and Pandreitje (payable).

With public transportation

By train

There are fixed train connections between Bruges and Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Kortrijk and Ostend, among other cities

By bus

There is an express bus connection between the railway station and the Market Square (Markt). All buses to the city centre (Centrum) stop near the Market Square. The number 12 bus even stops a few metres from Provinciaal Hof (‘Brugge Markt’ bus stop).
