  • Definition : number of species that are described as 'coast-specific' or exclusive to coastspecific habitat, and that are listed on the national (and regional) Red Lists of species, under any of the following categories of conservation status: extinct, extinct in the wild, endangered, threatened, insufficiently known, rare
  • Calculation : the sum of the of red list species in each of the existing conservation categories, that are coast-specific (exclusive to coast-specific habitat) or coast-preferential
