The city of Ostend welcomes you at the city hall for drinks and snacks, a perfect way to start off the conference week. Catch up with colleagues and meet your fellow participants. The city hall was built in 1956 in a spacious modernist architecture, and has a good view over the Ostend harbour and the museum ship Mercator.
The reception is free for participants, but registration is compulsory. Places are limited.

Located on the roof of the Ostend casino, Brassi Rooftop flaunts a breathtaking panoramic view of the beach and wide open sea, adding an unforgettable dimension to any occasion. Enjoy a classic three-course dinner with colleagues from around the world.
The conference dinner can be reserved during registration, at 85 EUR pp. Places are limited.
Closing reception
Friday 17 October - 17:15-18:30

As the conference closes (for those of you not joining the weekend excursions), the IKUWA 8 organization offers you a farewell drink. Enjoy a final glass of local Belgian beer or a freshly made lemonade, and start making plans for IKUWA 9!
The closing reception is offered free to all participants. Please do indicate if you are planning to attend on the registration form.
