Percentage of Natura 2000 sites in Favourable Conservation Status

  • Definition : The percentage of coastal Natura 2000 sites or coastal habitat types that have achieved a favourable conservation status (FCS), by coastal buffer or sub-region, i any given year.
  • Calculation : The number of Natura 2000 sites, or habitat types, that have achieved/maintained a favourable conservation status, dived by the total number of Natura 2000 sites/habitats assessed.
