Data management activities within the NewSTHEPS project are in agreement with all project partners. Original data files generated by NewSTHEPS partners will be yearly transferred to VLIZ who will upload and store them in the Marine Data Archive (MDA). VLIZ will run technical and content related data quality control procedures. These data will be described in the Integrated Marine Information System (IMIS) and will be linked to the Marine Environmental Samples and Readings database (IMERS). Eventually data will be transferred in a common lay-out format to the Belgian Marine Data Centre (BMDC) and integrated in the Integrated and Dynamical Oceanographic Data management (IDOD) database.
