Description
Database containing 3901 records of southern sea lions (Otaria flavescens) and southern elephant seals (Mirounga leonina) that breed in the Patagonian coast. Coastal records correspond to censuses of breeding and non-breeding rookeries of southern sea lions carried out by the Marine Mammal Laboratory from 1989 to1997. Locations at sea are foraging trips for seals equipped with Argos-linked Platform Transmitter Terminals.
