Abstract
The project objective is the numerical simulation of the three-dimensional current circulation in the offshore zone, the turbulent flow in the surf zone and their interaction in the coastal zone. The numerical models are based on the Navier-Stokes equations utilizing the RANS approximation with turbulence models in the offshore zone and the LES/LWS methodology in the surf zone.
