Phytoplankton community structuring in the Belgian Part of the North Sea
Contact:

Description
Hydrographical, chemical and biological factors are known to affect seasonal and geographical variation in phytoplankton communities. This study analyses the phytoplankton species composition during late winter-early spring in two areas of the North Sea: the Belgian coastal zone and along a North-South transect covering the Dogger Bank, central and northern North Sea.
