Abstract
Hyperspectral VIS, NIR and SWIR reflectances generated by HyMAP are used to characterize the main intertidal sediment habitat types occurring in the Westerscheldt Estuary. The Molenplaat has been selected as case study area and was overflow five times during the low tide period. The In-Situ Erosion Flume (ISEF) has been deployed on site to measure erosion characteristics and sediment samples have been taken for further analysis.
