Lead partner for A3 : VITO
→ BACK TO ISECA Activities
Main aims of A3 activity :
- To make the existing knowledge and data on eutrophication in the 2Seas territory accessible for potential users and researchers.
- To design, implement and test reusable model concepts for analyzing eutrophication at a strategic level in the ‘2Seas’ territorial area.
- Analyse eutrophication in the context of Climate Change, aiming to identify the regional impact of global change scenarios on the eutrophication.
Targeted Publics :
Local and regional key players for the monitoring, modelling and/or analyzing of coastal waters quality along the Channel/North Sea shore such as:
- Representatives of institutes/agencies specialised in water quality control or taking an interest in inventorying and sharing coastal waters quality data.
- Actors representing Environmental Public Institutions concerned by sharing protocols and the state-of-the-art measurement techniques in the field of coastal water quality measurement.
- Marine researchers and other scientist who take an interest in the integrated analysis of coastal eutrophication at the regional level.
- Marine researchers and other scientist who can contribute to the model library and help improve the quality of the reusable model building components.
Expected results :
The main deliverable will be a Web-based Application Server (WAS) devoted to:
The access to the WAS will be restricted to registered users in order to respect the data rights and identify the potential end users.
