Data collected for a study on fishery evolution in a protected area. more

The objectives of this project are: 1. To assess the effect of the total cease of the extractive activities on the fish populations of high commercial interest in the protected area. This was determined by following the evolution of the abundance, biomass and population ecology of those fish species. 2. To evaluate the effect of the recovery of populations of exploited species in the reserve on fish yields in adjacent funds, as indicator of biomass exportation processes.
