Abstract
    The three species belonging to genus Evadne were studied with the scanning electron microscope. This investigation confirms the homogeneity of the genus, Evadne tergestina seeming to be the species nearest to the genus Podon. Parallely, the sexual dimorphism is made conspicuous in Evadne tergestina.
