| Abstract |
This ecological study shows that, on the Brittany Atlantic littoral, L. littorea, an oviparous sp with pelagic capsules, has a very determined period of spawning and its young execute an important migration to catch up with the adults. The oviparous sp L. littoralis deposits its spawn on Fucus, breeds throughout the year and does not show a migration of young. Finally, the sex-ratio is 1:1 for these 2 spp and only L. littorea shows a true sexual quiescence with a regressed gonad a and fall of the penis in the male. |
