| Abstract |
In the Orosei Gulf, off Sardinia (Tyrrhenian Sea) two new species of Heterotardigrada have been found: a Styraconyxinae, Paratanarctus kristenseni n. g., n. sp. and an Echiniscoididae, Echiniscoides bruni n. sp. Furthermore a population of Tholoarctus natans has been found. The presence in the latter of peduncles in all the toes suggests the necessity to institute a new subspecies. |
