Abstract
In a taxonomic and pre-pollution survey of Guadeloupe (F.W.I.) littoral meiobenthos, the authors took into account the following faunal analyses: value of nematodes to copepods ratio tentatively related to beach energy and sediment granulometry, evaluation of nematodes and minor groups species diversity. The occurrence of minor groups such as gastrotrichs, Annelida or Tardigrada are considered of importance in the assessment of the environmental quality of meiobenthos biotopes
