| Abstract |
The purpose of this article is to underline the importance of cooperation and coordination in dealing with biodiversity beyond areas of national jurisdiction. The essay emphasizes also the importance to approach any marine activities including marine biodiversity in a coherent, integrated and coordinated manner to achieve good governance and ensure greater efficiency. |
