Abstract
    Plasticvissers vangen op de Noordzee slechts 2,8 stuks afval per vierkante kilometer. Elk jaar komt zo'n 20.000 ton afval in de Noordzee terecht. Ongeveer 70 procent daarvan zinkt naar de zeebodem, 15 procent komt op het strand terecht en 15 procent blijft drijven. Het afval in zee bestaat voor 60 à 80 procent uit plastic.
