| Abstract |
Since 2007 in Belgium, as in other surrounding countries, there has been an increase in the number of observations of Balearic Shearwater Puffinus mauritanicus in the North Sea. Especially in 2011 the numbers were noticeably high. Perhaps this is a sign of global warming with a corresponding northwards expansion of number of prey fish species. |
