| Abstract |
Four mathematical expressions relating development time to temperature are compared. All four yield good predictions of the development rate of the copepod Tachidius discipes. The use of the equation of Belehradek is criticized. It is concluded that the power equation D= aTb gives the best approximation in this case. |
