Abstract
From the Dominican Republic a new species, Rhombognathus caribaeus sp. n., is described. The species is characterized by smooth claws and rather short telofemora. Rhombognathus caribaeus sp. n. is strikingly similar to R. validipes Bartsch 2000, a species recorded from Queensland, eastern Australia.
