Abstract
Morphological descriptions and distributional data are presented on three species recently introduced into the SW Netherlands and predominantly occurring in the non-tidal Lake Grevelingen and Lake Veere. Both Asperococcus scaber and Acrochetium balticum are European species which have rarely been reported after their initial description; Leathesia verruculiformis is apparently an introduction from the NW Pacific and has not yet been reported from other European sites, maybe due to its very small size.
