Abstract
Interstitial fauna of Galapagos: VII. Nematoplanidae, Polystyliphoridae, Coelogynoporidae (Turbellaria, Proseriata). The family Nematoplanidae is represented with one species of the genus Nematoplana Meixner in the Galapagos archipelago. With regard to the characters comparable at present it is identical with Nematoplana nigrocapitula Ax from the Pacific coast of North America. We postulate the derivation of the Galapagos population from this species. But the decision about an identity can only be given after an exact knowledge of the genital system from material of the Locus typicus. Polystyliphora darwini nov. spec, from Galapagos is the second species known of the family Polystyliphoridae. There is an extreme correspondence to the European species Polystyliphora filum Ax. Two species of the family Coelogynoporidae are described. Vannuccia hastata nov. spec, is related closely to Vannuccia talea Marcus from the Atlantic coast of South America. Carenscoilia monostyla nov. spec, is put provisionally to the genus Carenscoilia Sopott from the North Sea.
