Abstract
In C. maenas L, when several pereiopods simultaneously rebuild themselves, some of them will show abnormal processes in their regeneration: the 'all or none' law is no more observed. Such appendages appear, after the first molt, at various stages of their development. During the second intermolt phase, the processes go on, so as to rebuild a bud, more or less normal according to the degree of differentiation previously attained, from which a functional and morphologically normal appendage will come out.
