| Abstract |
This paper reports the results of investigations out in order to determine the effect of some factors light intensity, growth regulators, culture medium, pH, salinty, photoperiods and temperature on the germination of carpospores and tetraspores of Chondrus crispus in culture. The higher germination percentages were obtained at light intensities of 20-30 mu E. m. super(-2) s. super(-1) and a 16:8 super(-) photoperiod, in both culture media SW-3 and MP1, at pH 7.5-8-0, salinity 27-30 ppt and temperature 14-19 degree C the presence of the growth regulators BAP and ANA (1 mg./l). |
